This stamp is applied to all activities that affect tuna, carried out by any company involved in the food chain that has one or more locations and that wishes to obtain the Traceability System certificate to become a freezer purse seine vessel for tuna fishing activity (Katsuwonus pelamis, Thunnus albacares and Thunnus obesus) and that are AENOR certified under the UNE 195006 Standard and under a FIP identified as comprehensive.
Its achievement becomes a stamp that can be used in the final product, making it easier for the consumer to identify those products that come from AENOR certified vessels under “UNE 195006: 2016 – Responsible tuna fishing. Freezer purse seiners”..
PROCESS FOR CANNERIES
If you are a company involved in the food chain having one or more locations and you want to obtain the Traceability System certificate to become a freezer purse seine vessel certified by AENOR under the UNE 195006 Standard and under a FIP you can request the documentation through the following form, and we will contact you shortly.
